  One of the best-selling UK guitar rock bands of all time, Def Leppard paved the way for a new wave of heavy rock throughout the 80s. And now you can learn one of their most memorable hits from a time when spandex, hairspray and a big perm were essential accessories for any self respecting rock star. Animal is a great track for both beginner and intermediate guitarists to get stuck into. Both the rhythm and lead lines incorporate palm muting but are fairly straight forward, providing a great starting point for anyone looking to improve that technique. The chords are all simple power chords and the solos and lead lines mainly focus around single note progressions so you can even experiment with your own variations. A slice of classic 80s rock, which with or without spandex, is great fun to learn.
