Matt Costa (recently signed to Jack Johnson’s label “Brushfire Records"), was a semi-pro skater who turned to singer-songwriting after an accident. In this tutorial he gives you the lowdown to his indie folk song "Cigarette Eyes". The majority of the guitar part is made up of barred chords with a few open positions thrown in as well. All these chords are played with an infectious driving rhythm that once mastered, is a pleasure to play. The song is taught in great detail making for a lesson that is really accessible for guitarists just starting out.
