One By One, is a song that beginners can pick up some cool new techniques from whilst slightly more advanced players will take great pleasure in marrying all these different techniques together to create the finished part. The numerous things demonstrated by Yoav include showing the different tones you can achieve depending on how near to the bridge you strum the strings (a technique he sometimes refers to as "chiming") as well as the delicate strumming of strings with just one finger to create a great mix of melody and rhythm. There are also some simple string slides that are played together with open notes to add some color and depth to what are effectively standard chord shapes.
